ANVIL 1ST KOTE PRIMER & EQUALIZER is a specially formulated interior dry wall primer that ensures the finish coat of paint will look it’s best. ANVIL 1ST KOTE PRIMER & EQUALIZER, covers and primes the differences between the texture variations of gypsum board paper and joint compound finishes to a level 5 finish from a level 4 finsih. It helps to equalize the porosity and surface texture differences found in new construction dry wall installations, typically called ‘joint banding’. Forms a tight dry film, formulated with ’plating technology’ which delivers excellent dry film hold out characteristics for satin and semi-gloss top coats. In production use ceilings can be left un-painted. New regional Volatile Organic Content (VOC) regulations (SCAQMD) differ from the U.S. Environmental Protection Agency (USEPA AIM) national standards, this product can not be sold or shipped to the following area: the greater Los Angels basin.
